The Community Farmers Market is a nonprofit organization, set up for the benefit of the community.  Market operations depend on volunteers and the support of both vendor and community members.  

Support from volunteers enables the market to:

• Create a forum where local farms & businesses can sell products directly to the consumer.
• Promote a healthy community & encourage local business development.
• Accept foodstamps and offer market vouchers  to low income WIC (Women, Infants, & Children) and senior clients through the Washington's Farmers Market Nutrition Program.
• Coordinate farmer donations of fresh produce to local food banks.
• Provide outreach & education to the community about the farmers market & local products. 

The market is looking for energetic and dedicated volunteers to help us fill the following roles:

Market Ambassador
Help distribute market flyers and information to Lewis County businesses and organizations.  
 
Event and Party Planner
Work with manager and other volunteers to plan, advertise, and execute fundraisers and market day activities. 
 
Market Day Aide
Assist with the set up and operation of the market information booth, including selling of merchandise, answering questions about the market and local food, operating the wireless card machine for foodstamp/debit/credit customers, and provide support for daily market activities.
